PARANORMAL ULSTER
PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION IN
THE CROWN SALOON BAR BELFAST
31st MARCH 2009
Tonights team at the Crown ... Mike , Anne, Gary, Caron and Ian our cameraman. Our guest was Cynthia a friend of Paranormal Ulster.
Once the equipment was set up and protection done we made our way up to the attic and upper store rooms. We decided to investigate the attic areas because while sitting in seance in the restaurant on a previous investigation we heard what we thought was Amelia being trailed across this floor.
Vigil 1
Upper Store Rooms
These rooms are used for storage. Once the lights were out Mike called out and very soon spirit made its self known. Knocks were heard on our recording equipment. The temp in the room dropped up and down on command. The cold temp got very intense behind the two girls. Caron felt the spirit touching the diamond ring on her finger and it did it a second time when asked. We felt they were around us but not coming forward.
Vigil 2
Attic
We all climbed up the steps and into the attic. This was the highest point of the bar. Here we could feel a lot of atmospheric changes. Mike kept losing his voice and we sensed that something very sinister had happened in this area. At one stage Anne felt like a noose had been put around her neck, we believe that may have been a hanging in the attic. Good evps was captured up here and also an amazing sphere of light was captured in front of Mike when he was climbing the Attic stairs.
Vigil 3
Restaurant
We sat in the restaurant and did glass work. David Pux came forward as his usual arrogant self. Unfortunately our energies were drained which made communication difficult with him so we decided to call it a night and closed the vigil down.
The Summary
Each investigation in the Crown has been different. Tonight we decided to investigate the Attic and upper floor areas. This is where Amelia is kept and she came through to us. She walked around the circle and admired Carons ring and kept touching it.
We were then drawn to go up the steps to the next attic.This was where Mike's voice got very hoarse. We feel this related to something that happened here many years ago. A lot of lights were seen but these was later proven to be car head lights. David Pux came through to us when we used the glass. He had kept his distance tonight. For some reason we were all drained of our energies and Mike was ill for a few days after the investigation. Mike closed the investigation down and we all headed home very tired, but we all agreed we had a good night. Roll on the next investigation in the Crown.

Paranormal Investigation in
THE WHITE HORSE HOTEL, CAMPSIE, LONDONDERRY
10th MARCH 2009
Tonight's paranormal Ulster team at the White Horse Hotel were Mike Hirons, Anne McKinstrey, Gary Watters, Caron Watters, Shelly Jordan and Roy Willighan. We also had two special guests both of whom are well known in their own field of research. Barry Fitzgerald from American TV Ghost Hunter's International and Eamon Walls who is a Shaman Practitioner clearing geographic stress from buildings.
HISTORY
In the early 17th Century the building was known as The White Horse Inn and was a coaching house which provided a well needed rest and a meal for passengers travelling by coach. The back yard was used for stabling the horses which were regularly changed. In 1959 James Mc Elwee was walking along the road to the White horse Inn which he had frequented for some 50 years. He heard horses hooves and a coach with no wheels pulled by four white horses as it pulled into the old yard of the Inn. The driver got out and entered the Inn and vanished. There are many other eye witness accounts and stories of this famous phantom stagecoach. Also there have been numerous reports of an old lady dressed in victorian cloths frequenting the building. The Hotel staff have told Paranormal Ulster about there experiences of strange phenomena around all areas of the hotel over the years.
BASE STATION
The White Horse covers a vast area so we decided to use the bar area which was the Old Coach house to set up our scientific equipment. CCTV cameras were set up in four areas where the staff had reported Paranormal Activity. A AKG condenser microphone connected to an Acer Aspire laptop was set up in the restaurant beside one of the cctv cameras. Two camcorder night vision cameras and digital audio recorders were put in locked off areas. Barry also discussed some new equipment he wanted to test with us such as Ultra violet photography and electronic equipment that picks up sonic booms and very high frequencies.
VIGIL 1
Bar
Protection done we held our first vigil in the bar. Mike used an H2 Field Audio recording unit and was picking up a series of knocks. This recorder is very sensitive and can pick up sounds coming from a lower frequency. There was a slight drop in temperature but not enough for us to say it was caused by spirit. Two team members manning the cctv and the audio were reporting hearing sounds and seeing light anomalies.
VIGIL 2
The Willsboro Suite
A night porter preparing for a function the next day returned to the suite to find chairs he had brought in had been stacked up neatly on the stage. It was in here we decided to do table/seance work. We believe the spirit of a young girl interacted with us. Two names were given CATRINA and CATLIN, we were also given the age of 73 ? Mike experienced electrical interference on his audio equipment which had never happened before, having ruled out taxi's, fridges etc we still can't say it is Paranormal although it happened when the spirit was interacting with us . Later on Mike also caught EVP (electronic voice phenomena) on his audio equipment, a high pitched murmur was heard maybe a young child and also an unknown mans voice saying "JULIE", later we also caught what sounded like a girl saying "HELLO".
VIGIL 3
Restaurant
A figure has been seen by staff in a small area of the restaurant so we decided to hold a vigil in that area and we had already set up a condenser microphone and CCTV Cam. After a while we heard 4 loud bangs or knocks, then we heard what sounded like a door closing at the rear of the bar/cellar area although nobody was in that area. A whistle was also heard. What we discovered later on when we reviewed condenser audio recording from the restaurant area was a evp/voice saying "COME OVER HERE LOOK IN MY HIDE", this was caught in the area where staff had seen a figure sitting down. Also later on in the restaurant a voice is heard saying "YOUR SICK"
VIGIL 4
Loft above Bar
The night was passing quickly and we still had a lot to do. The loft above the bar was our next choice. This is where Shelly was scratched. We held a seance and a lot of energy was felt at the lower end but would not come forward. Again the knocking was still prominent and was interacting with us. Towards the end of the vigil a voice was heard answering YES, YES when asked if it was him whistling.
VIGIL 5

At the bottom end of the bar we had our final seance. Very quickly contact was made. Caron saw a young girl sitting on a stool between herself and Gary. They both felt the cold temperature in which she gave off. Suddenly the table moved, she was seen to push it with her foot, Roy was touched on the knee and the whole area was extremely cold. She rocked the table on request and was happy we were talking to her. Unfortunately our energies were drained and we had to call an end to the night at 06.00 am.
LOCKED OFF AREA
Toilet
We left a camcorder and a voice recorder in the toilet areas and we have picked up what we believe to be a humming sound and two loud knocks on voice recorder and a loud knock on the camcorder.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCES
All the team had there own personal experiences throughout the night, such as feeling spirits close by, actually seeing figures of children, being physically touched, hearing EVP, having strange feelings and personalities put upon them.
THE SUMMARY
This is one of the largest Investigations Paranormal Ulster has ever carried out. The night went very well. The young girl was with us for most of the night and she finally made contact before we finished . Lots of activity has been caught on both the recording and audio equipment. Barry brought some new equipment to test with us so we look forward to hearing what he has caught. Mean while we will be checking our own equipment and our findings and once proven as Paranormal, we will put it on the web site. Our thanks go to the Management and staff of the White Horse Hotel for looking after us and giving us rooms. In the coming weeks we will take a journey up to the hotel and have a investigation debrief with Keith the General Manager and Carolynne the Sales Manager and let them hear and see for themselves all the evidence and footage we have caught.
We did not catch the stage coach this time but who knows what will happen when we return. Look forward to the next investigation.
