Paranormal Ulster conducted there first investigation at the Town Hall and Arts Centre in Newtownards on Friday 27 February 09 . The investigation was the first of its kind at the Town Hall and it attracted some local media attention. The investigation was both historical in interest and amazing on the paranormal front as the building has had many strange occurences reported from staff that work within. The building was built by the Marquis of Londonderry as a Market House (formely a prison) from local Scrabo Stone in1765. There was many a skermish surrounding this building and around the time of the Irish Rebellion it housed a small company of English soldiers who fought off the United Irishman. To date we have recorded some strange voice phenomena and very strange light anomalies, also poltergeist phenomena has been recorded, please see EVP Recordings page and Film Footage page. Further investigations are to be arranged very soon.

Mike and Gary conducted an initial interview and walkround of the famous Dobbins Inn Hotel in Carrickfergus on Tuesday 17 February 2009. Paranormal Ulster have arranged a full overnight investigation in early April 2009. We are also planning a Summer Solstice weekend event.

The Old Cross Inn Newtownards, the oldest Pub in Newtownards and one of the oldest in Northern Ireland which dates back to the early 1600's. The first investigation carried out by Paranormal Ulster on Sunday 15 February 2009, we caught some strange light anomalies and what we believe to be a voice on EVP, we also got some interesting information from the communication board, we hope to return to the location for a second investigation very soon.
