Paranormal Ulster are always carrying out NEW experiments in Divination using such methods as Dowsing, Water scrying, Scrying, Crystal work, Psychometry, Mediumship, Past life Regression, Remote viewing, Seance work, Communication Board, EVP & methods of recording Infrasound.
In addition to our six senses, we at Paranormal Ulster use the minimal amount of technical equipment as an aid to our investigations. The equipment is used for evidence & back up purposes only.

AKG C 1000 S Condenser Microphone and mixer unit also the Acer Aspire 5735 15.6-inch Laptop incorporating Edit Pro 2 function. Both will be used to enhance our capability to capture and record EVP ( Electronic Voice Phenomena ) It will enable us to monitor voice and sound phenomana live as it happens while out on location.
The Behringer XENYX 502 Mini Audio Mixer unit for use with the AKG C 1000 Condenser Microphone System.
DVR RF1420 CCTV system incorporating alarmed motion detector and 250GB HDD. Complimented with 4 IR Cameras and a high spec monitor this will assist us in state of the art professional investigation techniques while on location.
The Zoom H2 Field Audio Recording Unit used by Paranormal Ulster on investigations to capture EVP. This expensive bit of kit has a multipule recording capability with four microphones. Paranormal Ulster have two H2 and also have two further voice/speech recorders for use on investigation.
The Sony HDD camcorder has a 40GB hard drive, its an exceptional camcorder for capturing night vision footage. The team now possess 3 HDD Camcorders. Paranormal Ulster have an additional 2 x 60GB HDD Sony Camcorders. We also have additional Sony IR Light attachments to enhance our night time scope.
The Samsung Digimax 7.2 Mega Pixel Digital Camera produces excellent day and night time images. Paranormal Ulster have another 3 x 10 mil Mega Pixel Digital Cameras at there disposal.
The Raytek Thermoview Ti30 Thermal Imager. We are proud to say that to our knowledge, we are the only group in Ireland that has use of such specialised equipment of this calibre for regular use on investigations.
The AM Tech Digital Infra Red Thermometer is a reliable device used to record
temperature fluctuations. Paranormal Ulster have additional Digital Infra Red Thermometers.
The Technika 717 radio handsets, a must for communication while on location and an important device to have for Health and Safety reasons. The Technika 717 is capable of a 3km range with 8-frequency channel, an LCD display and dual desktop charger. Paranormal Ulster have six radio hansets at there disposal for investigation.
The Infrared Beam Barrier is used as a motion detector , the alarm will sound whenever the invisible infra-red beam is broken between the receiver and transmitter. Paranormal Ulster have 4 beam barriers for investigation.
The ELF Zone EMF Meter is a very useful piece of equipment on investigations which will detect the electromagnetic fields we encounter daily from such things such as power lines, radar, television and computer screens, motors, fluorescent lights, microwave ovens, cell phones, electric blankets, house wiring and hundreds of other common electrical devices, once we have put all these items out of the equation, some believe that spirit entities may hold energy of an electromagnetic force which could be picked up by an EMF Meter in a alledged haunted location. Paranormal Ulster have added to there equipment with a further high spec EMF Meter.
"The OVILUS 1" is said to create speech and phonetic speech from the immediate environment.

Frank's Box scans AM and FM frequencies in a continuous fashion, creating white noise, which people believe spirits can use to communicate with. The box is said to be interactive because you can ask questions directly to the spirits and receive replies from them as you are talking. Frank Sumption made the box using radio, electric and computer components.
K-II EMF Detector: This unique piece of equipment is a visual aid in detecting small EMFs (Electro-magnetic fields). It has several LED lights in colors from green to red. The K-II meter detects fields in the 0.0 – 2.0 MilliGauss range.
