I am the founder and Head Investigator of Paranormal Ulster and would like to tell you a little bit about me and my experiences across the amazing world of the paranormal.

I am a married man with one grown up son and I am originally from Worcestershire in England, I moved over to Northern Ireland some 30 years ago and now live in Bangor , County Down.

I have been activly investigating the paranormal world for several years now and have investigated and researched many locations, I have had an interest in the subject all my life and experienced strange phenomena when I was a young boy and also again in my teenage years.

As an experienced investigator, I will be covering all fields of the paranormal with my team including investigation of private and public locations all over the UK, Ireland and across the world, I will be looking at both historical and ancient significance to these locations and also using both scientific and spiritual methods of investigation to bring evidence that the spirit world does exist and to bring it just that little bit closer to us all .

I have been a paranormal investigator in 3 different groups over the years but my most memorable of these groups was Paranormal Ulster, a spiritual & scientific investigative team which I formed back in 2007. While with this team I created and presented Ireland's Biggest Ever Ghost Hunt events at irish haunted castles which were attended by large audiences and were screened live and interactive for the first time ever on the web with a registered 25,000 hits over a single weekend event .

I have appeared on BBC Northern Ireland TV Newsline, and also on several BBC Radio programs including the Stephen Nolan Show and Radio 5 Live talking about my experiences and beliefs of the Paranormal World. I was also broadcast live on location at Grace Neill's with Downtown Radio in April 2008 and also live on location at the Downtown Radio Studio's to detect an alledged haunting . I was a regular guest on Lisa Flavelle's Night Line Program on Downtown Radio. I was also part of an exclusive interview with Derek Acorah on BBC Radio Ulster's John Daly Show in early 2007. I have appeared on Ulster TV Radio U105 with Carolyn Stewart in July 2008 & also on Limerick Live 95 FM Radio in July 2008 . In February 2009 I was invited onto BBC Radio Ulster's Stephen Nolan Show to talk about UFO sightings over Ulster. In October 2011 Mike appeared on BBC Radio Ulster's Saturday Magazine Show presented by John Toal. Mike has also featured in dozens of national and regional newspapers over the years covering his paranormal investigations & interests.

Mike has worked with Yellow Fever Productions in Belfast on a fly on the wall Paranormal TV Series called The Ghost Effect, it has been recorded at various locations around Ireland and will be completed in late 2011. This program has yet to be commisioned.

my Individual journey across all corners of Ireland to find the most TERRIFYING of Haunt's Ever !! I am very pleased to announce that I will be working with a Belfast based professional production team and graphic designers on this film project " Beach Head Media , we are now going through the program commisioning process and hope to be successful later in 2012.

Another project I will be undertaking in the future will be an individual journey and investigation of the French Battlefields of World War One.

One of my new projects in 2012 and a first of its kind for Northern Ireland will be a series of paranormal workshops I will be conducting, the subject modules covered in these workshops will be "how to conduct a professional investigation" " how to start you own team" "paranormal equipment and uses " " setting up base station " " types of hauntings and ghosts " " spiritual protection " "spirit guides" "methods of communication " parapsycology and much more, the workshop will end with a live investigation at the castle where you will have the chance to put your new skills to the test. These Workshops will be held over a number of weekends throughout the year depending on popularity, the venue's will be Dobbins Inn , Carrickfergus and the Haunted Ballygally Castle Hotel, County Antrim , please check for dates and book your place on the "Book a Workshop" page of this website.
